PLC Sports is an incorporated company and is run as a for profit business.  As a business, the number one goal for PLC Sports is to provide complete customer satisfaction. The league has been designed to offer children a safe and friendly environment to play the game.

The Barrie Knights Hockey League is an Independent Hockey League not affiliated with the OMHA or Hockey Canada. We are free to set our own rules as we see fit.

The Barrie Knights offers the most affordable and best hockey value in the region. The Knights provides 40 hours of ice time, more games than practices as you get to the older divisions, jerseys and socks you keep, trophies for every player and a pizza party at the end of the year.

The Barrie Knights works diligently to ensure that everyone follows the code of conduct to ensure that the atmosphere at the rink is a positive one. Coaches are asked to provide positive reinforcement for the children. Encouraging them at every opportunity. Yelling and screaming at children is not accepted in the Barrie Knights Hockey League. Parents are asked to cheer for great plays regardless of the team who makes the play. Any spectator who violates the league’s Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the arena.

As a business the league is able to respond to issues immediately. Board meetings and committees are not necessary. The league will act swiftly to remove any player or parent who does not follow league rules.

Players who wish to play for the Knights DO NOT require a release from the organization they are leaving.
